On Wednesday, August 13th it was back to “school” for me as I headed to Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino for Alex Mandossian’s Podcast Secrets Reunion.

This was a private experiential workshop (and Reunion) for all Podcast Secrets™ students and alumni, and I was invited as a Special VIP Guest of Ms. Donna Fox, so it was a real treat for me to brush up on my podcasting knowledge, visit with some old friends and meet many new ones too!

All of the attendees were truly committed to leadership, learning and living the timeshifted lifestyle. And it was the perfect primer for the New Media Expo which I attended the following day.

We have just returned from the World Internet Main Event (WIME) in San Francisco, California and the experience will truly last a lifetime. There are almost no adequate words to describe the friendships that were formed and the opportunities presented. It is huge! And I can’t stress enough the value of attending such an event!

We are off and running in Madison Wisconsin and the cameras are flashing! The speaking lineup is awesome and we’ve already been treated presentations from Reed Floren, Steve Renner and currently Ross Goldberg is uncovering Web 2.0 Secrets, social bookmarking and an enormous number of tips, techniques and methods for driving traffic!

This summer has marked the first opportunity we’ve had to exercise our options of working from anywhere and traveling at our leisure. Having no ties that bind, we are pretty much free to grab the girls, hitch up our travel trailer and venture off in any direction. So it has been a natural conclusion that we take advantage of the flexibility and meet up with some of our dear friends, colleagues and mentors that we’ve come to know so well online.

I am of course in the back seat of this awesome coaster, and the gentleman on the left is Scott Byers, an Internet protege’ of our Mystery Guest (albeit from the look on his face, seemingly more inclined to seek his thrills in Internet Marketing than roller coasters!)
