Today all the buzz is about the 4th of July - fireworks, picnics, and the all important topic of Independence! Here at our home we are no different, the girls are looking forward to an awesome fireworks display tonight (despite the fact we’re under a Tornado watch, of all things, at the moment LOL) and I’ll be putting steaks on the grill here shortly, but there’s something more… Much more!

While our country celebrates it’s independence, Greg and I are still celebrating ours… 

You will recall, this is our first summer since Greg left the J.O.B. behind and we are approaching the one year mark come September. During this year, we’ve had many ”firsts” since his schedule no longer belonged to an employer - the first Thanksgiving, first Christmas holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, etc., and during each we paused in thanks for the freedom and independence we now have.

I mentioned in the earlier post that our first vacation of the summer found us spending one week instead of two on the road and we were delighted to have that choice. And that’s exactly what the work at home lifestyle offers us - CHOICES! It is one of the most liberating things to answer only to the person you see staring back at you in the mirror and make decisions that are for the good of family, friends and business associates. Knowing full well at the end of the day, you have done what’s in your heart!

Some of our recent choices have involved the decision to spend more time on the road, travelling and attending offline events as well as meeting up with some of our closest associates turned friends. This is providing an exciting summer already and it’s only just begun.

Greg is having a great deal of fun creating an awesome new product and I am nearing the point of unveiling the long awaited 90PercentAttitude site! Independence at its finest! All the while, we will be on the road with many adventures that lie ahead.

For now, to all our dear friends and online community, if you are celebrating this Independence Day, please know that it is our “choice,” that you are a part of our life and it is one of the finest moments we share.
