Dreams of a Disney Birthday Come True

No sooner than our 5 day coaching intensive was over, we had one day off to relocate to Anaheim, CA to begin the next adventure - a trip to Disney for Marina’s 7th Birthday! Two little girls, one big dream and 5 days at Disney where the magic never stops!

Ok, so me being super mom, I was a “bit” worn out going into the whole adventure - our coaching intensives are extremely mentally draining and only one day in between probably didn’t cut it for the rest and relaxation. But I’m a little trooper and we hit the ground running about an hour after the motorhome was nestled in a campground just 4 blocks from the park. Afterall, we were here to celebrate and it was time to get the party started!

We got 5 day park hopper tickets and we made it through day 3 before I held up a white flag and took a day off. And we chose a good day as the temperatures rose to the 100s and given the fact that our trip thus far had spanned temps as low as 10 degrees - our bodies were confused enough!

After suitable rest, we hit the parks once again for our final two days and even managed to squeeze in a visit with our dear friends and personal growth experts Manny Goldman and his wonderful wife Vania.

During our stay, we did Disney in style and we are truly blessed to have brought such memories to our daughters. There wasn’t a ride that was left untouched - from the Matterhorn, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Soarin’ Over California, to the ever popular California Screamin’ (rode it 6 times!) and the Hollywood Tower of Terror. And to all of our delight, this will mark the summer that Morgan has joined her sister in the ranks of adventure rides! Up to now, Morgan was quite happy to standby and watch her sister fly through the air, but Disney brought out the adventurer and Morgan didn’t miss a step on every ride she was tall enough to try.

And then there was the birthday “day” itself and Disney turned two little ladies into Princesses for a magical day that included a stop at the Disney salon for an “updo” and princess makeup, followed by a birthday lunch with Mickey and Minnie and an evening Character Dinner in Goofy’s Kitchen… Nobody does it like Disney and it was truly a magical day for all!
