Hi Stephanie,

This was a very interesting post.

And you are absolutely right. The majority of marketers complain about that there are not enough opportunities for them.

But that's not true. There are always more than enough opportunities surrounding us. The bad thing is that we are either to preoccupied to notice them, or, if a opportunity is showing up, we just don't take the action necessary to take advantage of it.

So, why don't we action? Sometimes it's just plain laziness (but that's not us ;-)), in other cases it's out of fear, because of low self-esteem and low self-confidence, etc.

And last but not least, there is one reason most people never think of. The goal (desire) they are trying to achieve is simply not motivating and inspiring enough to go the whole nine yards!

Best regards,
Peter R. Sherman

Sometimes you are born into Opportunity, that is, you have inherited your families wealth and people bring you opportunities on a regular basis.

Very often you are not born into a situation that has very many opportunities - in the way we think of these things in the US. Perhaps you were born in Africa and will stay in and with one village for your entire life.

But sometimes we can feel the excitement when something has touched us and we believe that others will also be touched. That is the moment of opportunity. That is the time to seize the moment, to believe in yourself, to try again, to make yourself proud.
