Dear Morgan,

Mommy and Daddy want to thank you for the joy you gave us today as you turned 5 years old! It is true that you thanked us many times over for your special day and the presents you received - but the real thanks goes to you who constantly reminds us of all that is truly important in this world.

We are thankful that you are a healthy, vibrant free spirit who has never met a stranger. And we are thankful for the love that you unconditionally give others, also reminding us of that important quality that we will work hard to make sure you never lose.

We appreciate you for allowing us to see the beauty in the little things that us adults often overlook… the warmth of a stuffed teddy bear pressed against our cheek, the joy of blowing out candles on a birthday cake, and the ability to savor every ounce of crabmeat drenched in butter as it dripped down your chin!

And through it all, the greatest delight you received today came as a result of your wish that people from “around the world” would be wishing you a Happy Birthday. 

To some, that may seem an unusual 5 year old request, but in the global world that we have introduced you to, it made perfect sense to you. And our (your) online marketing friends from around the globe rose to the occasion.

Thanks to “Uncle Tahir,” who created your Birthday Video and Blog Post, Birthday Wishes from Sweden, Germany, Australia, France, Canada, Belgium, Singapore, and all points throughout the U.S. and U.K., were yours to cherish and treasure for a lifetime. We have printed all the warm wishes for you and tucked it snuggly into your memory box where they will forever mark your special day and the remembrance that no dream is too big to come true!

So as we tuck you in for the night and you dream of teddy bears, crab legs, and future travel around the world… once again it is us who want to Thank You, our darling daughter for showing us what dreams are really made of!
